The members of two oil unions unexpectedly downed tools at Shell’s production facilities in a two-day protest against job cuts.

The strikes came a day after the country’s main oil workers’ union said its members would cease work on Sunday if fuel prices were not cut. Shell said its production had not yet been affected. read more
