Probably on front page of IT today, available on IT site now:

Shell rejects claims over delivery of alcohol to Garda – The Irish Times – Mon, Aug 19, 2013

Also up already on Donovan site:

Shell rejects claims over delivery of alcohol to Garda | Royal Dutch Shell plc .com

I have a little difficulty with Shell’s use of language here …

I believe the ubiquitous ‘reasonable person’ would read ‘reject’ as ‘no thanks’/’don’t want that’/’refuse to accept’ etc etc whereas ‘deny’ would be read as ‘it didn’t happen’.

Shell may not want or refuse to accept OSSL’s allegations but they have yet to DENY that in 2005/6/7 they provided booze tp cops.
