John Donovan unmasked as a Shell Spy

By John Donovan

In July of this year I published an article pointing out my listing on zoominfo as founder, owner and Group Chairman of Royal Dutch Shell Plc.

My impressive employment history has since been updated and I am now also listed as being a Senior Lawyer and Alaska Vice President for Shell, a job Ann Pickard probably thought she had secured.

It gets better.

A new book edited by two Associate Professors from the University of Ottawa  seems to identify me as a former employee of Shell Corporate Affairs Security. In other words, a Shell spy.

In the formally private sector (private companies hiring private intelligence agencies), operatives with a background in the state intelligence services make up the bulk of the staffing of the “private” agencies, which do assignments for the state agencies and share their results with the state agencies (Donovan 2011, former employee of Shell Corporate Affairs Security).

There is a citation in the reference section of the book to an article I published in May 2011: Inside the Shadowy World of Shell Corporate Security.

One American gentleman I know, a former Shell employee who is extremely suspicious of Shell and its notorious cloak and dagger activities, will be wondering if he has been communicating with a Shell spook for the past few years.
