What a waste of tax dollars, suing the oil companies for causing global warming. If the court for some crazy reason finds the companies liable, maybe as part of the settlement besides paying billions of dollars in fines, they will be prohibited from producing these harmful products. all the cities will rejoice, until there is no more gas for the cars, diesel fuel for the trucks, or heating oil for the homes. people will get tired of walking, and get cold and hungry in a very shot time. I’m not defending the oil cos. but this is a classic case of petroleum being a necessary evil for now, until something better comes along.
