MUSAINT : Yes, I do deny that I have asked for deletion of Guest 6519's posting (albeit that the idiot Twaddle Master 6519 made little sense yet again). And yes you cannot show that I have requested its deletion. I have asked for this evidence on 3 occassions and all 3 times you divert my question.

John Donovan : MUSAINT, other visitors can read the exchanges and draw their own conclusions. I note that you do not deny that you would like to see this site deleted?

MUSAINT : I repeat Mr. D show me where I asked for the deletion of Guest 6519's posting. You cannot and therefore this shows that you wish to mask the fact with a lengthy posting yourself making many unfounded accusations. This doesn't show this website up in very good light. You're starting to waffle like Guest 2340.

John Donovan : P1. MUSAINT you tried to use the fact that I had deleted an over the top comment about you to suggest that I might delete a comment posted by you. That was the clear implication. Although I intervened in your behalf, you used that against me. At least we have now flushed out the motive behind your 24/7 visits here under various guest guises over many months. You want the site to be deleted.

John Donovan : P2. At least we now know where you are coming from. By coincidence or otherwise your desire and your strenuous efforts over a long period are completely in line with the objectives of Shell and the team set up by Shell to combat this site. Those efforts will not succeed. We will be here for years to come building up our files on Shell and related matters. All will continue to be made available FREE to all interested parties.

MUSAINT : Mr. Donovan kindly point out in my correspondence where I stated that I objected to the deletion of the posting of Guest 6519. I'm afraid that this unfortunately shows that you do not read some of the postings very well. That said, it has to be said that Guest 6519 (aka 2340) is indeed a master of twaddle. Your website you can delete.

John Donovan : The Shell Foundation is one example of Shell's charitable good works. Unfortunately Shell execs could not resist the temptation to use the charity improperly for commercial benefit, as was revealed by the Guardian newspaper. MUSAINT by all means speak out for Shell. John Donovan : Accusations of making a personal attack are nonsense when the identity of the person being attacked is unknown. I am all for focusing attention on Shell rather than anonymous contributors to Live Chat.

John Donovan : Guest 4023 how is it possible for anyone to make a personal attack on an individual who has not revealed any personal details? As for the comments of 6519, they are inappropriate and have therefore been deleted.

guest_4023 : I don't agree with everything that Musaint says, any more than I support the small number of people in Shell implicated in the incompetence and unethical behaviour described on this site. However, I suspect that most readers are more interested in rational discussion than personal attacks.

guest_3506 : Musaint is a desperate person making generous contradictions. For example, detest Shell-defend Shell; Shell Best-Shell Bleat; Shell Profitable-Shell Pedigree; Shell Environmental Friendly-Shell Nigeria Friendly. Musiant you better make up your mind. You are a hypocrite. State your issue, one at a time. Go to the controversies of Shell and select a menu you object. Then we can have some civilized engagements. If you have no time, get lost!

John Donovan : P1. MUSAINT if you created a website focused on Exxon, you would not find anyway near the same vast catalogue of misdeeds as committed by Shell. In any event, I have no problem with you speaking up in defense of Shell. I will continue to point out any holes in your arguments and you are of course free to do the same with my assertions.

John Donovan : P2. Sometimes we will hopefully find common ground, as for example in relation to Shell's shabby treatment of Shell retirees compared to the riches heaped on incompetent executive directors, including scoundrels forced to resign e.g. Sir Phillip Watts.

John Donovan : P3. We expect Shell senior management to abide by Shells General Business Principles: honesty, integrity and openness in all of Shells dealings. We will continue to campaign accordingly. I note that you have not indicated whether you would like this website to close?

MUSAINT : I have better things to do than list Exxons list of litigations, fines, court cases, humanrights records etc. If I did then I would create a similar website as this. I'm afraid that I'll still defend Shell whenever I feel comments are biased and unwarrented or even completely wrong / exaggerated. John Donovan : The person who made the comments in defence of Shell was ignorant of the facts.

John Donovan : MUSAINT, I have provided the evidence for all to see. Information added to Wikipedia has to be neutral and supported by verifiable evidence from reputable sources. Any information which does not meet that standard can be removed by any editor. I have supported my comments. Where is your evidence? There is none which matches the scale of misdeeds by Shell across its operations.

John Donovan : If Guest 7087 compared the Wikipedia articles for each of the major oil giants they would not have made the statement about Shell being more honest than other majors. Shell has a track record of dishonesty, environmental pollution and unethical conduct without equal by any oil company or indeed any other major business on the planet.

Namely ANY large company with a famous BRAND will suffer the problem of many people trying to sue them over anything & everything, in many cases for a hoped for quick buck.

A “Live Chat” Guest on our website who currently uses the pseudonym of “MUSAINT”, has asked about the progress of the lawsuits involving the Malaysian Dr John Huong, who is being sued for defamation by EIGHT Royal Dutch Shell companies.

LITIGATION INVOLVING THIS WEBSITE

For the last 4 years, articles authored by Alfred and John Donovan which are published on this website, have been the subject of multiple High Court injunctions by EIGHT ROYAL DUTCH SHELL GROUP companies including Dutch and UK companies. The litigation involving Shell whistleblower Dr John Huong, remains in progress.

Due to bungling or deliberate misrepresentation and/or perjury by malicious Shell lawyers hell-bent on pursuing a vendetta, the shambolic proceedings were brought against the wrong defendant (Dr Huong) in the wrong legal jurisdiction in respect of the wrong website. Shell chose to sue in a a corrupt legal jurisdiction - Malaysia - where justice is on sale to the highest bidder.
