ASTANA. September 20. KAZINFORM – Kazakhstan Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov has received Shell’s executive director for exploration and production Malcolm Brinded today, Kazinform has learnt from Government’s press-service.

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the active participation of the company in the realization of different projects for development of hydrocarbons’ fields in Kazakhstan. As Daniyal Akhmetov noted, the collaboration with Shell company, possessing big experience and modern technologies, is of great interest for Kazakhstan.

D. Akhmetov acquainted Malcolm Brinded with the plans of oil and gas sector development in our country. This sphere is one of the priorities in the development of the industrial production and according to the Prime Minister, the Government is to stimulate the attracting of investments into it.

In his turn the executive director of the company pointed out, Shell group company has experience and technologies in the sphere of development of the oil and gas production. The company is ready to consider the questions of its participation in the concrete projects.
