Cranfield School of Management in the UK, Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands; the University of Texas at Austin/McCombs School of Business in the US and Australia’s Queensland University of Technology will all take part in the initiative.

The project academy is a development scheme for Shell employees and will include mentoring services, learning events, assessment and accreditation. Later this year 1,000 Shell employees will begin the programme.

“The Shell project academy is a long-term investment that will help us attract, develop and retain the industry’s best project practitioners,” says Jeroen van der Veer, Shell chief executive.
