Shell faces a $100 million (£50 million) hit after reports that Russia is considering cutting the amount of reimbursable expenses available to operators of the Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 offshore oil and gas fields. Other groups set to lose out include the US giant Exxon and India’s ONGC.
