Shell to Sea Campaign plans for August 2007

West Armagh Community Festival Shell to Sea information evening.

Mícháel Ó Seighin, who spent just over three months in prison as one of the Rossport Five, will join a discussion panel comprising Tommy McKearney, Northern Regional Organiser of the Independent Workers’ Union, and Barry McElduff, All Ireland Affairs Spokesperson for Sinn Féin as a part of the West Armagh Community Festival. 
Cathedral Road Recreation Centre in Armagh City at 8pm on Friday August 3rd
 
The evening will also feature a dvd screening, traditional music and a light supper.

Shell to Sea talk in Cork

John Monaghan from Rossport will be speaking in the Gresham Metropole on McCurtain street on the current situation in Erris. All Welcome. Further details from [email protected]

The next court dates for those Shell to Sea activists arrested during protests will be in September in Belmullet and Castlebar, keep an eye on indymedia.ie and shelltosea.com for details of protests and solidarity actions. Some people have written to Minister Brian Lenihan at Dept of Justice, 94 Stephen’s Green, expressing disquiet at the campaign to criminalise peaceful protesters.
