Shell and ExxonMobil are among oil companies facing a new threat to their profits after the Nigerian Government said it may renegotiate their contracts to operate in the country. “We may have to reconsider some of our generous terms,“ said Rilwanu Lukman, chairman of the oil and gas reform committee.
