HOUSTON, Sept 1 (Reuters) – Shell Oil Co (RDSa.L: QuoteProfileResearchStock Buzz) said on Monday the return of its Gulf of Mexico production could take three to five days.

Shell plans to begin limited redeployments of workers to the eastern and western areas out of Hurricane Gustav’s path in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday, if weather permits.

Shell will also conduct flyovers of its platforms in the Gulf to check for damage.
