Ron Andrews Joins Shell Trading (US) Company as President and Vice President, Global Operations of Shell Trading

HOUSTON, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ — Ron Andrews, former Manager Rhine Supply for Shell’s European downstream business, has been named President of Houston- based Shell Trading (US) Company and Vice President, Operations for Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited.

Andrews replaces Bob Pease, who recently was named President and CEO of Motiva Enterprises LLC, a refining and marketing joint venture owned by affiliates of Shell and Saudi Aramco.

As President of Shell Trading (US) Company and Vice President, Operations for Shell International Trading and Shipping Company Limited, Andrews is responsible for Shell’s oil trading business in the U.S., as well as a majority of Shell’s worldwide trading operations in both oil and gas.

Andrews has a strong background of U.S. and international downstream and trading experience based on various positions he has held in Manufacturing, Supply, Corporate Planning, Equiva Trading and Shell Trading during his 33- year career with Shell.

In his most recent role, Andrews had responsibility for the Supply, Trading and Manufacturing optimization for seven countries in Northwest Europe, which represent some 70% of Shell’s European downstream business.

Andrews earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Southern Illinois University.
