Royal Dutch Shell treachery over Iranian oil

Reuters is reporting that an Iranian supertanker anchored near Singapore for the past week has just moored at Royal Dutch Shell’s refinery and is about to discharge 1.5 million barrels of Iranian crude. The latest news comes despite the impression from Shell that it had ended its treacherous relationship with Iran.

It appears to be directly at odds with an assurance given by Royal Dutch Shell CEO Peter Voser just a month ago. See Reuters article below.

Even though well versed in the duplicity, deceit and trickery of Shell, I had thought, based on such  signals from Shell, that the company had finally ended its trading with Iran. I should have known better.

Despite giving the impression to the contrary, Royal Dutch Shell has continued funding a fanatical evil regime intent on the extermination of the Jewish people. Iran is bent on developing nuclear weapons to destroy Israel, finishing the job that Shell’s former Nazi partners embarked upon, killing millions of Jews in the Holocaust. Shell conspired directly with Hitler, was anti-Semitic and sold out its own Jewish employees to the Nazis.

No need to believe what I say about the taboo Shell/Nazi partnership. Please read the account given by Shell’s paid historians who had unrestricted access to Royal Dutch Shell archives. These extracts are published in defiance of threats by Mr Michiel Brandjes, Company Secretary & General Counsel Corporate of Royal Dutch Shell Plc.

The equally obnoxious relationship between Shell and Iran has continued unabated for many years, while the fanatical Iranian regime has been busy using the funds generated to supply roadside bombs to kill and maim Nato soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan and fund its Nuclear Bomb program. The oil revenue is crucial to Iran. Hence the sanctions.

Trying to avoid the odium of its association with the mad mullahs, Shell resorted to subterfuge to disguise its shipments of Iranian crude.

When I wrote to Bill O’Reilly at Fox News in 2007 on this subject, calling for Americans to boycott Shell products, Shell lawyers on both sides of the Atlantic became frantic. I know this for a fact because I have the relevant Shell internal emails. That same month Shell set up a global spying operation trying to locate our insider sources and carry out an “invisible” investigation of me.  This has been confirmed to me by a very high level Shell spook, a former member of the intelligence community. Shell lawyers in the USA and Europe were instructed to monitor this website. An attempt was surreptitiously made to close it down. The panicked reaction provides an indication of the great sensitivity attached to Shell’s Iranian machinations.

Reuters article: Iranian supertanker to discharge crude at Shell Singapore refinery -trade

Mar 2 (Reuters) – An Iranian supertanker anchored near Singapore for the past week has moored at Royal Dutch Shell’s refinery to discharge about 1.5 million barrels of crude, according to Reuters data and three trading sources on Friday.

The National Iranian Tanker Co. (NITC) vessel Delvar arrived on Thursday evening at Bukom island, where Shell’s 500,000 barrel-per-day refinery is located, Reuters Freight Fundamentals Database showed.

“Yes, Shell bought it. There is no other reason for it to be anchored at Bukom,” said a Singapore-based ship broker.

In an e-mail reply to a Reuters query, Shell said, “We do not comment on our trading activities. Shell complies with all applicable sanctions.”

The 270,000-tonne Delvar arrived on Feb. 23 off Indonesia’s Karimun Island, which is a key offshore storage point near Asia’s biggest oil trading hub Singapore and is often used for ship-to-ship transfers (STS), but NITC vessels have not been known to call there.

The vessel then moved into Singapore waters on Feb. 26 after discharging a cargo of condensate into a smaller, China-bound tanker.

The smaller 60,000-tonne vessel, Xuan Wu Hu, was bound for an oil complex in Huizhou, where China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) and oil major Royal Dutch Shell jointly operate a petrochemical complex.

Iran, the world’s fifth largest oil producer, has been struggling to sell its crude in the face of tightening U.S. sanctions and an EU embargo that begins on July 1.

Anglo-Dutch major Shell is one of the biggest consumers of Iranian crude worldwide, industry sources said, taking around 100,000 bpd into Europe and about the same quantity into Japan under a deal with Japanese company Showa Shell that expires in March.

Speaking on Feb. 2, when the company reported earnings, Shell Chief Executive Peter Voser declined to elaborate on how much Iranian crude the company was still buying.

“Shell will comply with the sanctions and we will therefore get our crude from somewhere else,” Voser said.

Singapore imported around 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Iranian crude over the past year, according to industry estimates. Official data on Iranian imports to Singapore is not available.

Shell’s Bukom refinery, the oil major’s largest, makes up the biggest share of this volume, industry sources said.
