That’s why we’re going face to face with the bosses who’ve the power to call it all off – at Shell’s London HQ right now.

Day after day, whether it’s as they’re going into work in the morning, or when they break for lunch – musicians will play one musical piece, with one message: stay out of the Arctic for good. It’s the longest single protest against Arctic oil drilling that Shell has ever faced.

Shell are constantly trying to keep their fingers in their ears, so now they’ve reached the Arctic we need to be louder than ever. Together we can amplify the music – every petition signature, every Facebook mention and every tweet will – literally – increase the volume of our Requiem for Arctic Ice. Take a look: https://secure.greenpeace.org.uk/requiem

Shell care about being popular – they spend millions on PR after all. But over the last three years, we’ve shown Shell just how unpopular their plans are. Just last week, activists in Portland hung from a bridge and stopped Shell in their tracks – making international news. [1]

Now we can help the Save the Arctic movement reach a crescendo that Shell can’t ignore. The louder our music gets, the less they’ll be able to ignore just how strong our movement is – and the less they’ll convince investors that their company is worth supporting. Let’s make sure our opposition grows louder and louder with each day.
