Shell joins queue of investors waiting on Iran oil contracts

Iran will fire the starting gun this week in a race to develop some of the world’s biggest oil and gas reserves when it reveals the terms for new oil contracts to foreign investors, including Royal Dutch Shell.

The Anglo-Dutch oil giant will be among a slew of companies participating in the Tehran Oil Conference in the Iranian capital on Saturday and Sunday. Lukoil, of Russia, and Total, of France, are also expected to attend.
