THE DYNAMITE SHELL INTERNAL DOCUMENT THAT ESCAPED THE SHREDDER

THE DYNAMITE SHELL INTERNAL DOCUMENT THAT ESCAPED THE SHREDDER

By John Donovan

Printed below is an email I sent yesterday to Shell and Baroness Helen Liddell.

At noon tomorrow, I intend to publish a Shell “STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL” internal document comprising mainly of audit notes.

The content is possibly the most damaging to Shell’s reputation that has ever existed in one document.  It had vanished from a secure Shell vault in dubious circumstances when Shell’s chief auditor tried to retrieve it.

I first found out about its existence just days ago and have a copy which escaped the shredder. I hold proof of authenticity.

It is littered with references to Malcolm Brinded, inexplicably the current President of the Energy Institute despite his dubious circumstances. Brinded is the former Shell executive who held a secession of senior roles within Royal Dutch Shell – until recently as Chairman of the Shell Foundation. He is also currently a defendant in a criminal trial arising from his key role in the OPL 245 Nigerian oil deal corruption scandal. Two of his fellow defendants have already been convicted and sent to jail. Two of his fellow Shell defendants are former MI6 agents hired by Shell for their expertise in the dark arts.

By coincidence or otherwise, I am currently the target of a credible blackmail operation with an ultimatum that expires today. Actions have already been taken by those responsible to demonstrate their technical credentials and the potency of their threats. All carried out anonymously. I do not react well to threats and will not be taking the demanded action.

The notion that Shell could be in any way behind such activity would even not enter my head if it were not for the fact that Shell has directed bouts of espionage and undercover activity against me for many years. Shell secretly tried to close down this website, which has survived repeated Denial of Service attacks. I did manage to corner Shell on a couple of occasions and have letters/emails admitting responsibility.

As can be seen from the email below, I recently sent an email to over a 1,000 members of the House of Commons about Shell – each sent individually. The content was extremely damaging to Shell’s reputation, as will be the next one.

What a predicament for Shell. It cannot take legal action against me because what I have stated is evidence based fact. Litigation would only focus attention on the unpalatable truth and give Shell a problem with the growing number of ethical investors.

More to follow at noon tomorrow, subject to any response from Shell in the meantime.

Dear Mr Thomson

Please pass this information to the appropriate Royal Dutch Shell executives directors and lawyers.

I did get round to sending an email to over a thousand UK MP’s and Members of the House of Lords along the lines of the draft I sent to Shell recently. Baroness Liddell can confirm that she was one of the recipients.

I have started to receive replies.

An extract from one letter:

I believe your allegations raised are incredibly serious and would encourage you to raise them with the relevant authorities. With regards to the investment by the Church of England in Shell, this is a matter for the Church Commissioners.

I will act on that good advice.

In the meantime, I have printed below a draft copy of my next planned communication to parliamentarians which will also be published on Friday, 21 Sept.

Shell is invited to point out for correction any inaccuracy in the stated facts. But please do so by noon Friday.

If you intend to reply, but want more time, just let me know and I will happily delay publication accordingly. I would rather it all be 100% accurate than rushed.

I have also attached pdf files containing the relevant Strictly Confidential audit notes and the letter to Mr. Holliday mentioned in the draft article.

I am happy to publish unedited any comment that Shell or the Energy Institute wishes to have added to the draft article and consider any reasonable request, including from Baroness Liddell.

Please excuse the bad language. It originates from Shell, not me.

Kind regards
John Donovan
