Worst company in UK

Worst company in UK, avoid this company as they rob customers. They charged £1800 for 9 months for 2 bedrooms house. Online they offer fixed tariff £74 per month once you on board they triple the charges by saying usage. Further complain take real mess
as they take 3 months to investigate and meanwhile bills are trippled and people like Fiona and Caroline in resolution team are complete unless its a hack to even complain and they make more money. This company is like a crocodile eating our flash and bones and they get millionaire with our blood and sweat hard earned money. Life become hunted when you get on this compan

Shell Energy – doesn’t get worse

Provided a final reading in July on behalf of elderly owner. Shell issued incorrect inflated invoice in August. Put up compliant in September following appalling Customer Service in addressing the issue. Received an apology but no resolution save that I receive weekly email about it being addressed. Elderly owner has just received a new invoice with incorrect readings and a demand for another £600.00. Shell were supplied accurate readings on sale and addition from new owner. These bear no resemblance to the readings shown on the invoice to calculate sums due

I genuinely thought I was dealing with…

I genuinely thought I was dealing with a longstanding and reliable brand but I was woefully mistaken.

Biggest bugbear is that they don’t warn you that a Gen 2 Smart Meter may not work with their supply…in fact I’m left with an in house display unit that doesn’t work at all (whereas my Gen 1 with EDF worked fine and at least partly functioned with Shell). I’m also having issues with SMS as neither party will respond / accept responsibility.

Call backs don’t happen, emails, including complaints, are ignored outright (I can’t even get an acknowledgement that my email has been received).

The app and website are unreliable and often have missing info (I can’t currently see recent or previous bills for example) which then reappears and so on.

Also concerned by a sharp increase in meter readings which I can’t identify because the display unit doesn’t work!

Will be looking for another deal and will pay the exit fees (along with a complaint to Ofgem). Any recommendations for a company with environmental credentials and working smart meters?
