last bill after changing to a new supplier grossly overcharged

After 2 years with shell I was unable to stop them increasing my monthly payments massively. So I switched and they charged me £250 pounds on my final bill.£150 For my last months fuel usage and £50 for each fuel cancellation charge. I spend £56 pounds a month on gas and electric. They ripped me off. The new supplier paid for the cancellation charges but just switching is expensive. Good riddance Shell

Can i say how bad the customer service…

Can i say how bad the customer service is all i want is monthly bills all i get them when they want to send them i would not recommend company to an enemy

Total rubbish

Total rubbish. Have not even managed to transfer to them yet and am pissed-off.
Shell asked for my first gas meter reading then when I log in to give it their website says “not ready yet”. No way to email them – only an automated bot and Shell, your customers are HUMANS and we want to talk to HUMANS not machines.

After taking over post office broadband…

After taking over post office broadband promising seamless transition, like shell promise with their energy take over bill, they yet again prove they have anything but the midas touch! Poor service, obstructive staff, no offer to fix things and also….no broadband due to their incompetence…..well done shell!!! Yet again you fail spectacularly

They’ve been guessing my bill

They’ve been guessing my bills & charging me £95 extra than what I used so £198 a month the shell app is awful.. the person that for came to fit, my smart meter knew it didn’t work, and when I called shell they said wait a few weeks and charged me hundreds more than I expected!!!!!! when I called them they said I used that much when I haven’t… my old supplier charged more pKWh and was cheaper -Switched from utility warehouse really regret it!!!! SHELL ENERGY worst energy supplier of the century what a mistake. They’re new & done have a clue!! Bills are incorrect always!!!. What I signed up for is not what I am being charged. Have constantly tried to contact Them but no help & staff haven’t got a clue they just listen with no Solution feels, like I’m talking to a brick wall because they don’t understand what I’m explaining to them and all they can go on about is my meter reading when I never had a smart meter until later on and that’s because of Covid and the engineer taking ages to come to fix it!!! and he never fixed it properly and then had to be called out again and then I was told to wait three weeks because it takes a long time for a smart meter to start working apparently the DIRE customer experience. I have been with SHELL for 4 months and this is my 4th complaint. Should never have switched. Cannot speak to a human being wondering no Senior Management,
Not happy. Will be contacting ofgem as they have “estimated” my bills to be £75 more than they should be… as my previous provider who is expensiver per Kilowatt was still waaaay waaaay cheaper. Used Uswitch for a better deal but turns out shell love to guess & overcharge you without sorting it out! I apparently owe the £200 and only been with them for 4 months

Switched from OCTOPUS to SHELL ENERGY…

Switched from OCTOPUS to SHELL ENERGY what a mistake. Bills are incorrect. What I signed up for is not what I am being charged. Have constantly tried to contact Paul Hellings without success to alert him to the DIRE customer experience. I have been with SHELL fir six weeks and this is my 2 complaint. Should never have switched from OCTOPUS. Cannot speak to a human being wondering were Senior Management are.
Not happy. Complaint number 8202656 issued in Bosnia. Would prefer to deal with U.K. customer services. Not happy. Would not recommend

I’ve enver had such a bad energy…

I’ve enver had such a bad energy suppler. They came out and fitted a faulty meter a few months ago and still haven’t fixed it. After numerous calls, emails, complaints etc. I have I’ve still not had a solution. They never call back when they say and then get rude when you can’t do things they ask due to your disability. Awful customer service.
