Unreliable

This is the worst broadband service I have ever used. We are a household of 2 people and the router cannot accommodate 4 devices at once (2 mobile phones, a laptop and a smart TV). The service goes on and off every day. I cannot wait until my contract ends in 10 months time

Beware! After 3.5 months Shell Energy still…

After 3.5 months Shell Energy still haven’t given me an account. Emails, messenger, phone calls, letters have flown back and forth. This company is totally incompetent, they honestly dont know what they are doing. This situation has left me so stressed and at times in tears with frustration. So, I am changing my provider and loosing £60 exit fees, thats how rubbish they are. Please, please think before you sign up. There are better deals out there with good customer service by phone. Shell Energy takes 5 days to receive a call!

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking! 4 times to relay the problem I had. The engineer has just left without saying anything to me as he was supposed to fit a smart meter how rude switching energy supplier!!!

Having never been with Shell Energy I…

Having never been with Shell Energy I was slightly surprised that I had an email threatening me if I didn’t pay £56. After thinking initially it was a scam I emailed them and also talked on the chat. I was told it was from 3 years ago when I was with first utility and they had been taken over. Firstly I was annoyed at the threatening nature of the email. Secondly why had it taken them 3 years to chase me.
I have reluctantly paid even though I have no details of my account.
I will never use this company again even though I never used them in the first place

An appointment was made to fit smart meters came and went with no phone call or any message on line. NOT IMPRESSED.

Avoid at all costs, unless you want to be harassed.

Upon moving into a new property last year I set up a new energy provider. This was halted as the previous tenants had an outstanding balance. I called up and was able to get it sorted out and so was only with them a short while…that should have been that. I have now been receiving many emails and texts saying that I owe them money from last year and that they would pass on my supposed bill to a debt collector which would affect my credit score! I’m so angry at this as through letters,calls, and emails with them they have assured me that this is incorrect and that I am in fact in credit. I am still receiving threatening texts and emails about a non existent problem. Customer service is a joke! Do I owe money or not?! I have always paid my bills. I want to wash my hands of this problem but they won’t let me. I will NEVER consider these as an energy supplier in the future and will warn family, friends, and colleagues away from them. This has caused me unnecessary stress and anxiety.

such poor service from a huge company

having discussed this account with you and agreeing to a reduction to a £50 final payment I have been waiting for a final bill with this amount. I have received several calls from your collection department from call centres from around the world and on each occasion I have requested a final bill showing the credit and outstanding amount. nothing has been received other than a demand for such. today I have received a bill showing the amount due as £107.99.I have today paid the account of £50 without either a bill nor receipt to show in my business.I have rented properties out since 1999 and in all that time I cannot recall ever dealing with a company with such poor customer service. this account was closed in August 2020 and never propery addressed.

Broadband house move

Trying to organise my house move for my broadband. Does not seem to be a online form to do this. The phone not offer a move option. The online chat worked OK so far. I reduced it from 3 to 1 as I got no email confirmation of the contact. Tried again on Twitter DM. They tell me to order my broadband move I have to do this with a sales person who I have to wait until tomorrow for! They then ignored my further questions. Concerned now I will miss the 2-week notification deadline.
