Avoid, avoid, avoid!
This review is for Home Broadband from Shell Energy. All I can say is don’t. Don’t use them, don’t believe their false advertising, and don’t expect any help from their customer services team.
Their website clearly and unequivocally says that their router is provided “at no additional cost”. That’s a lie, if you dare to leave them, even after you’ve completed your minimum term, they will charge you £35 for the router if you are unable to send it back to them almost immediately.
I’ve moved out of my house and put everything including the router into storage until I buy a new house so I can’t return the router yet. I explained this at great length to them to no avail, still they are charging me.
Their customer services team are inflexible, unhelpful, and uncaring. Avoid them!
