SINGAPORE, Sept 18 (Reuters) – Royal Dutch Shell RDSa.L said on Saturday a fire broke out at a unit at its refining and petrochemicals manufacturing site at Pulau Bukom in southwestern Singapore on Friday morning and has been put out.
The site, which houses Shell’s largest wholly-owned refinery with a capacity of 500,000 barrels-per-day (bpd), continues to be in operation and there is no impact on supply, a spokesperson told Reuters, adding that the fire was extinguished about 4-1/2 hours after it broke out.
