Shell Energy Broadband is diabolical. The worst EVER!

Appalling broadband

Appalling broadband. The worst EVER! Never any issues when was with Post Office Broadband, so…, with Shell, drops literally every few seconds. My dad lives in a modern property, and I have a good and strong, modern phone and laptop, so it is not a case of needing a signal booster, or any such the likes.

I have seen terrible reviews, all over the place, so would have left and gone to a better provider, had it been me choosing. A stark reminder that cheap is not necessarily good.

Staying temporarily with my father, and trying to do any work here is a nightmare, using the computer or phone. I won’t be fobbed off, like other people report they have been…Will update once I manage to contact them, and receive their response. Jeremy Woodrow, Director of Telecoms, look out for my emails…

Shocking!!!!!!

Shocking!!!!!!! I’ve never experienced such a bad broadband. Also the customer service is useless. Even after an hr waiting in the queue and talked to them they could not fix my broadband. My broadband speed meant to be between 8-13Mbps.
It only have 1Mbps!!!!
Do not think about getting shell energy Internet!!!!!!!!

Should be zero out of 5.

Account 5934838..Was moved over from Post Office broadband contract to Shell and everything went wrong..incorrect billing, rude staff, on hold for 1hr plus, inefficient systems and very slow to react to my complaint..such a bad experience and l will not be renewing my contract next year.

Shell Energy is a lying thieving corrupt corporation people do not join & any claim shell energy broadband believe they have against me i would like it in writing & signed by your C.E.O

This company is corrupt i am not even in a contract with them and i was with post office broadband but they have sold it on to shell energy broadband i have called them to let them know i want to cancel and they lied and said they have cancelled it now they are sending letters and messages saying i owe them when truly i owe them nothing this company are crooks avoid at all costs

Shell Broadband is terrible

Shell Broadband is terrible. Pay a little extra for one of the other service providers, they are all better. Shell Broadband is incredibly slow, the service is intermittent at best and they have an appalling customer service in trying to resolve and troubleshoot issues. I was left without internet for more than six weeks and in the end was forced to change suppliers.

It is a false economy using Shell. Avoid!

Shell broadband is diabolical!

Shell broadband is diabolical. The wifi signal is lost regularly and my computer is only 10 feet away from the router. My contract ends in just over 3 months and make no mistake I will be changing. The signal strength is permanently “weak” whereas previous companies used (BT, Vodafone, Plusnet) have much stronger signals. Do not use Shell for broadband!
