Cayley replaces Gallagher in Aberdeen

The new boss of oil giant Shell in Aberdeen officially starts in the post today.

Previously, Glen Cayley (right) – who has 30 years’ experience in the industry – was based with the company in The Hague.

The new technical vice-president for Shell Upstream Europe is no stranger to the Granite City, however.

He gained a post-graduate degree in petroleum geology from Aberdeen University after graduating from Liverpool University with a BSc in geology. read more
