Information of interest to Shell Corporate Security managers in particular and Shell staff generally.
Supplied by an insider.
Shater’s case against Shell is far from over.
In fact, once his case was assigned to a fierce conservative Republican appointed Texas judge, Shater’s attorneys started working on other judicial avenues. That judge, Andrew Hanen, is a fierce Republican appointed conservative with bizarre anti-immigrant policies. He is also known as the DACA judge – ruling against DACA immigrants throwing the lives of more than 600,000 people in the US into tumult. The Texas Appeals Court that ruled against Shater is even more conservative with a number of Trump appointees. Discrimination cases were at their lowest level under the Trump administration.read more

British Spies, British Lies (James Hall vs Walied Shater)
I have never before seen a court document containing so many allegations of repeated lies by a top-level Shell official, supported by copious similar fact evidence of his alleged deceit.
By John Donovan
I reported in August 1917 that Mr Crockett Oaks III, Shell security manager for the Americas, received a ‘big bucks’ court case settlement from Shell.
The litigation arose from an alleged pattern of discrimination in favour of ‘White Brits’ by Shell and Shell Corporate Security VP James WD Hall, a British national.read more

Lies and deceit in Shell Corporate Security Department?
EXTRACT FROM ONE OF THE FEATURED COURT DOCUMENTS:
‘Shell’s Code of Conduct trumpets “honesty,” as one of the Company’s core values. See https://www.shell.com/about-us/our-values.html. But Shell permits Hall to lie with impunity and continues to enable, support, and vigorously defend him…’

Printed below is a Google Review of the employment attorney law firm Oberti Sullivan LLP fast gaining a reputation for successfully suing the unscrupulous oil giant Shell, multiple times.
It was posted by Michael Oliveri, the former senior U.S. military officer who sued Shell for age discrimination and retaliation after the energy giant revoked his job offer. His posting seems to confirm, as previously stated online, that Shell settled his claim.
HIS POSTING
Mark Oberti and Ed Sullivan are two fine attorneys. They recently represented me in an age discrimination case, taking on one of Houston’s oil giants. They brilliantly went toe to toe with their company’s battery of attorneys. Mark and Ed continuously provided their insight, guidance, and represented me vigorously. They quickly understood the nuances of my case and developed a winning strategy. They were always open, honest, and straight forward. If you’re seeking legal representation, Mark and Ed are your guys.
The same law firm has sued Shell several times on behalf of individuals, all making allegations against the boss of Shell global security James W.D. Hall (a British spook). They have represented Crockett Oaks III (former FBI agent), Michael Oliveri and Walied Shater (a former U.S. Secret Service Agent) and appear to be on a winning streak.
I invite Shell to contact me if, in fact, Shell did not settle the relevant claims for pots of money and I will happily publish a correction.
Today, we have news that Oberti Sullivan is representing Julia Shur, an employee of Shell who was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer in June 2019. A year later, she was terminated for alleged performance reasons despite having led two transactions that resulted in more than $160 million in revenue for Shell that year.
A decision by Shell Oil Co. to reject the hiring recommendation of its former head of U.S. security has led to another discrimination lawsuit against the company, a subsidiary of the international oil major Royal Dutch Shell
Earlier this year Crockett Oaks III sued Shell for allegedly firing him after he objected to hiring preferences based on age and gender. Oaks and a selecition committee chose a 53-year-old man with a military background for a security advisor opening, but Shell executives allegedly blocked his hiring and directed Oaks to find a young, female candidate instead, according to court documents.read more

The falling out of Hall & Oaks…
This article is about litigation and controversy involving the head of Shell Global Corporate Affairs Security, James W.D. Hall and a succession of his accusers, starting with the Security Manager for Shell Oil Company, Crockett Oaks III.
The lawyers involved in the litigation have gone to great lengths to keep certain information from reaching the public, Shell shareholders and Shell employees.
So much for Shell directors solemn pledge of openness and honesty in all of Shell’s dealings. Apparently, that does not apply to court proceedings. Shell is more interested in maintaining confidentiality about high-level skullduggery. I think it’s called a cover-up. read more

Vicious Infighting at the top of Shell Corporate Security
By John Donovan
Former high-level American spooks at Shell Corporate Security, including Mr Crockett Oaks III, have made serious discrimination accusations against the mysterious Brit, Mr James W.D. Hall.
Mr Hall was once described as the top executive in Shell’s entire corporate security organization, including the Business Integrity Department. He worked for the UK Foreign Office for many years, perhaps as a spymaster. In legal papers filed yesterday, it is alleged that “Hall is a professional peddler of falsehoods”. At the time of publication of this article, Mr Hall is Business Advisor, Project Lead and Chief of Staff to the Group Crisis Team at Shell. They must be busy.read more

Allegations and Litigation Relating to Spymasters in Shell’s Corporate Security Department
By John Donovan
See below a self-explanatory email I sent yesterday to named senior executives at Shell.
It mentions the current momentous events at Royal Dutch Shell, although that is not the subject of the email. In that connection, I have not spotted any reference in current news coverage to the Dutch police raid at Shell’s current HQ in The Hague.
That astonishing development may have fuelled a growing feeling that the Dutch government has turned anti-Shell by allowing Nigerian and climate change litigation against Shell to proceed in the Dutch courts and tightening up Dutch tax regulations affecting Shell.read more
Crockett Oaks III, a former FBI agent who led the U.S. security operations of Shell Oil Co., was part of a selection committee that last year recommended the hiring of a 53-year-old man with a military background as a security adviser. But when the company directed the committee to find a younger, female candidate, Oaks objected to hiring based on age or gender and was subsequently fired.
Those allegations are contained in a lawsuit filed by Oaks that is now testing the limits of employee confidentiality agreements. Shell Oil, the U.S. subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell, last week obtained a temporary court order blocking Oaks from revealing potentially damaging information about Shell’s personnel practices to support his claim.read more
Law360, San Francisco (April 11, 2017, 1:27 PM EDT) — Shell Oil Co. and a former FBI agent who led the oil and gas giant’s U.S. security operations asked a Texas federal judge Monday to toss the agent’s wrongful termination suit that claimed he was fired for objecting to Shell’s allegedly biased hiring practices.
Shell and former Shell regional security manager Crockett Oaks III filed a joint motion to dismiss the suit without providing details about what led to the dismissal request. The parties agreed to bear their own court costs, according to the motion….read more

Listen and read proof in audio and transcript form of Shell CEO Ben van Beurden’s cover-up tactics in the OPL 245 Nigerian corruption scandal. The instruction given by him in the covertly recorded call to CFO Simon Henry was at odds with Shell’s claimed core business principles. Cover-up and obstruction, instead of transparency and integrity, says Shell critic John Donovan
Customer Service NON EXISTENT: Received letter stating engineer would be out between 1-6pm no one turned up, not even a call,to my mobile. Called customer services to find out when engineer would be out and was told I didn’t need one and was connected. I said I was 89yrs and couldn’t get down to switches and didn’t know how to connect to WiFi, they hung up on me. Called again for complaints to let them know how I was treated and would be expecting the £25 credit which states on their website you receive for engineer not showing up, she hung up on me again!Date of experience: 03 October 2023
This company are appalling: This company are appalling. They come out as the cheapest on comparison sites but beware they then up their charges to an extortionate amount once you are with them.
They wanted us to pay over £500 a month for a 2 person household. They also made us pay over £1000 stating we were in debit on our account despite paying a really high monthly direct debit.
We are now with another company, pay less than half of the amount that shell charged us and are already in £600 credit after 4 months.

Bullying vulnerable old people is…: Bullying vulnerable old people is pretty low, and that is what they are doing. Message sent saying more than doubling their direct debit when they have never been in debit and we have to keep getting the overpayments back by wasting our time on the telephone to them. We keep putting in complaints which presumably go into the bin.
I really do thing there should be some legal comeback on these bullies.
In any other part of life just taking more money than you are due would either be theft or fraud. What makes them think they are above the law and decency? Arrogance and corporate targets for deposit amounts, and they are probably getting 5% on your overpayments, means their profits swell and anyone who is on a profit related bonus gets a bit more at your cost.
If you think about it, if Shell Energy have 1m customers, and they each have at least £500 overpayments in SE's deposit account then SE are raking in almost £2.1m per month in interest.
They should be made to pay customers 5% on any money they hold over £100 to discourage them ripping everyone off and defrauding vulnerable old people.

The installer who came to install the…: The installer who came to install the smart meter for me was very rude. First of all, he was late - he arrived at 5.20 pm. He raised his voice to me (I warned him 2-3 times not to shout at me). He wanted to see the radiator controller. When I said that there was no problem, but he had to change his shoe covers, he was wearing them outside - it was raining and he was walking on the ground -- HE SAID IT WAS NOT A PALACE AND HE WENT AWAY. He also threatened me that he would disconnect my gas. I also did not receive a home monitor that would control my gas consumption. I also didn't sign the completion of work for him - the signature I gave him before starting work, he said that he couldn't start doing anything without it... That's not the way to do it. It's a showcase of your company, which isn't very pretty.

Bye bye Shell: Fixed price came to an end. Payment is going from £153 to £243 despite the spot gas price being historically low.
They offered a fixed rate tariff, takes the price down to £226, the catch? I must take a Smart Energy meter that I don't want and have never wanted, and have declined SMS who have phoned me easily 15 to 20 times since I've been with Shell Energy.
I've told them every time to stop phoning me, I don't want a smart meter, but still they do it. Albeit I haven't had a call for a few months, maybe they've stopped. I don't know. But not before telling them over and over again to stop phoning me.
I also used to get nagged regularly with text messages to book a Smart Meter despite never wanting one and making that clear from the first time they asked.
Now shell is giving me a high price, with a tiny discount if I accept a smart meter.
I started my switch to Octopus energy today. £217 a month, albeit a variable rate, so the Corrupt Neo Marxist government can treat me and everyone else like an ATM machine to fund the hotels for illegals, and the Ukraine war that had nothing to do with us.
This after they put 28+ energy companies out of business by pretending to care about people with a Price Cap, now the greedy corrupt energy companies have no incentive to compete against each other, since the corrupt Marxist government killed off almost all free market competition.
