Lies and deceit in Shell Corporate Security Department?

‘Shell’s Code of Conduct trumpets “honesty,” as one of the Company’s core values. See https://www.shell.com/about-us/our-values.html. But Shell permits Hall to lie with impunity and continues to enable, support, and vigorously defend him…’

Legal papers were filed last night in the USA courts repeating serious allegations against the head of Shell’s Global Security Department, Mr James WD Hall.

His current official title is Business Advisor, Project Lead and Chief of Staff to Group Crisis Team at Shell. His email address is: [email protected]

One of the people currently identified on his Linkedin page is Richard Moore “Chief of MI6”. Shell has hired former MI6 officers (as confirmed by BvB) and has a longstanding relationship with Hakluyt, the private spy firm set up by former MI6 people. When I sent an email to a previous head of Shell Corporate Affairs Security (CAS) I received an automated response supplying his Hakluyt email address.

Mr Hall is accused by Plaintiff Walied Shater of being a serial liar in regard to a race and national origin discrimination case.

Mr Shater, who is an American citizen, worked as a Special Agent for the United States Secret Service (“Secret Service”). In 2000, he was assigned to the Presidential Protection Division of the Secret Service as a Special Agent at the White House. In this capacity, Shater served on the protective detail for two United States Presidents, served as lead agent on various presidential visits, and acted as an undercover agent targeting suspected terrorists involved in the September 11 attacks.

In August 2013, Shater began working for Shell in its Corporate Security Department as a Cluster Security Manager (“CSM”) with responsibility for managing the security function for Shell in seven Middle Eastern and African countries.

His numerous allegations against Mr Hall including repeated lies and outright deceit are set out in detail with supporting evidence within the court papers accessible via the links provided below. Mr Hall also allegedly secretly altered documents.

As will be seen, Mr Hall has form. Shell has already settled litigation brought by at least one other senior Shell security manager in the same department making the same accusations against Mr Hall.

Mr Shater is appealing against a decision made recently as set out in the court papers.

If Mr Hall wishes to supply a comment it will be posted here unedited.
