This is a brief update about OSSL, a company employed for some years by Shell EP Ireland as a “Mr Fixit” (distributor of Shell bribes) used to ease the progress of the controversial, hopelessly delayed and billions over-budget, Shell led Corrib Gas Project in Ireland.

Regular readers may recall my email dated 28 April 2013 to Detective Chief Superintendent John Gilligan of the Garda, who had a hand in facilitating the widespread corruption of the Garda, many of whom have been accused of brutality towards environmental protestors, including members of the Shell to Sea campaign.

There was no response from Gilligan or his lawyers. You would have thought that given the seriousness of the stated facts this senior police officer would by now – several weeks later – have issued a defamation action against me?

I take his lack of denial or issuance of legal proceedings as confirmation that what I am stating as fact (without any protective legal preamble) is fact.

More recently, I sent an email to Michael Crothers, the Chief Executive of Shell EP Ireland setting out the facts about his role in the cover-up of this massive scandal that is not limited to Shell corrupting hundreds of police officers.

Once again, no outright denial from Crothers, or issuance of legal proceedings by him personally, or by Shell.

Just a pathetic attempt at a smoke and mirrors cover-up.

There have, however, been remarkable developments behind the scenes involving a number of parties.

More will be revealed in due course.
