A concentrated anonymous effort is underway to kill or hack our shellnazihistory.com website.
There is clearly malicious intent.
According to Jetpack Monitoring, a bombardment of almost 50,000 *total blocked brute force attacks were made on the website Shell Nazi History .com in the last month. See Jetpack screenshot below.
We can only speculate on who might have the motive and any prior form to take such sinister action against a non-commercial entirely free to use highly informative website? The site includes undisputed evidence from Shell’s own files, that Shell’s support for the Nazis resulted in the deaths of Shell employees.
Shell has used cloak and dagger activity against my Shell focussed websites several times, as recently as July 2021.
During my appearance on the Channel 4 TV climate change documentary Joe Lycett vs The Oil Giant broadcast on 24 Oct 2021, I did warn Joe to be on his guard when dealing with Shell.
During almost 4 hours of filming, I informed him about Shell’s decades’ long use of the dark arts. Spying, Industrial Espionage, hiring retired MI6 people, Hakluyt etc. Yes, it is all recorded on film. So he probably was a bit rattled.
The day after the documentary was aired, Joe posted this Tweet: Well it’s been a very interesting day. This afternoon I received a tip off that I might’ve been hacked and/or monitored. What curious timing! Someone wants to read mummy’s mails!!!
There is no evidence of which I am aware that Shell is behind the incident reported by Joe Lycett or indeed the latest attack on one of my websites.
*A brute force attack is a popular cracking method: by some accounts, brute force attacks accounted for five per cent of confirmed security breaches. A brute force attack involves ‘guessing’ usernames and passwords to gain unauthorized access to a system.
