Dear Mr. Gilmour
As you may be aware, I operate the website royaldutchshellplc.com
A contributor has just posted the following message on our Shell Blog which, if it is true, could impact on share value.
Pearl’s gasifiers are crippled because of water-side corrosion on the syngas effluent cooler (SEC) tubes. The shells of all of Pearl’s SECs will have to be cut apart so the tubes can be replaced. Somebody made a massive design error.
If this serious allegation is without any foundation, then I will quickly publish, unedited, any rebuttal you wish to make.
Please reply ASAP.
Regards
John Donovan
