Shell are leaving generic replies to make it look like they are concerned about complaints being made,and promises of call backs not being made. Another fine mess by Shell.

Just had my first bill after changing to fibre broadband and it should have been £32.88 per month. I didn’t get a first bill and was told I was in credit from paying in advance for my original broadband package of 2mbps with Post Office when it was migrated.
So no get billed is £196.54!!!! I ring and spend over half hour talking first to a computer then to Nazeem who says I had a call out charge added. I said yes as Openreach left cables to 5 houses disconnected after moving a telegraph pole. I was asked again if I requested a call out, well obviously as I had no phone/internet! Nazem contradicts a previous message that said if the engineer is called out for any reason there is a charge! Shell already paid me a weeks compensation for loss of service and yet I am still billed. Also no mention of how much I was in credit from my pre-change-over contract. Its like Fred Carnos Circus run by people with no idea on how to treat customers. As someone else said, another Talk Talk type company. Avoid at any price! read more

Hi Everyone. Shell broadband Etc. I’m not going to repeat what people have been saying about Shell, from my own experience they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. So with that in mind let’s get down to how we can all play our part to bring this company down legally. Money Money Money,  they cannot survive without money. Boycott all shell products and services, tell family and friends to do likewise. Get on to social media spread the word. Word and mouth will spread like a forest fire it just needs you to do your bit. Shareholder a perfect storm is coming, will your shares become worthless, should you even be supporting this bad company. The top brass at shell need to know what’s happening, their email address is on the internet fill their inboxes with your truthfully thoughts. The people in the UK deserve better lets get rid of this crap company from our shores. read more

This company has the very worst…

This company has the very worst customer service in the planet. I was without internet for days. I work online and couldn’t work for 3 days and a half. They never sent an engineer. I saw an Openreach vsn, and the guy was good enough to come and check my connection. It was the router. The engineer sent his notes, and Shell should have sent the router. They wouldn’t. It was not the engineer that they sent, although it was an Openreach engineer, who was the only person who knew what SERVICE is. Horrible, unhelpful, terrible company. Good riddance. read more

Useless customer service

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I was switched by force due to Ofgem price cap and Pure Planet going bust. I couldn’t get a bill off this useless company for almost six months, despite having a smart meter. Then I got two within a short period of time totalling over £700 where normally I would pay less than half of that. They didn’t get meter readings for three and a half months and imposed a daily average calculated on my usage during the coldest months of the year. Absolute b*ll*nds! read more

Was switched to shell when previous company went bust. shell by far are the worst company I have ever delt with . 2 visits to fit a smart meter. Sending me a letter saying they have to increase my direct debit to over £400 a month way UNDER my usage.as I will not pay a ridiculous amount each month I cancelled the direct debit and simply pay each month for actual energy used not a penny more not a penny left. Shell have marked my credit file a month in arrears.but not updated it for over 3 months. Customer service is awful they simply too big to care as soon as I am able to switch I will be leaving my money be better spent elsewhere read more

Incompétence

After they wanted to increase my monthly payment from £31 to £43 I decided to finish I was ask to return my Router in the pre payed bag at the post office & I got a recipe with a tracking number & a few days later it was delivered. But I received 2 emails saying I hadn’t returned it, I said you are wrong & gave them the tracking number & it’s taken 2 weeks to admit I was right. I did stop my direct debit otherwise they would have taken £30. I’m now with NOW TV at £21 a month & twice the Broadland speed. read more

Excellent “non” service from Shell Energy. Have been trying customer number all day to speak to their broadband section. I keep on getting “due to unforeseen circumstances “ messages advising us to phone later. This is not acceptable trying to deal with a company that doesn’t have a contingency plan set up. Poor show and cheerio as I will be voting with my feet. read more

Very poor company, ridiculous estimated bills, avoid at all cost

Terrible company

Terrible company, poor customer relations, threatening text messages when I have upped my direct debit with them every month and make one off payments which they don’t seem to apply to my account. It is impossible to speak to a human being, you have to leave your account number and phone number on an automated line with a promise of a call back that never comes. I have done an online enquiry form disputing what I am paying and don’t even get an acknowledgement. I have so far paid them £511 this month alone yet my balance has gone up not down. This company are an absolute joke!! The sooner I can move supplier the better. I am only with them because pure planet went bust and I was automatically moved to shell. They clearly can’t cope with the new volume of customers but are more than happy to take our money! read more

Poor service provider

Hi, my shell service activited on April 11 mid nights. Before buying the shell broadband service the executive promise me I will get 11 mbs down load speed but I am never got above 1.2 mbs speed . After I raised complaint over email I never get any response from shell. Very poor and pathetic service provider.now I am stuck with this provider bcoz I took 18 month contract .so I am wasting my Monday with this service provider.this company very good to deduct money form your account but they not bother about customer. read more

Shell sends ‘thug’ to stop industrial strike action on Prelude FLNG, says labor union

In response to the formal notice served by lawyers representing the Offshore Alliance, a labor union, as well as the Electrical Trades Union (ETU), issued on 30 May, Shell has “now resorted to industrial thuggery in a desperate effort to try and stop protected industrial action on Prelude,” the Offshore Alliance claimed in a post on Facebook today.

“One of the Shell leads, who has been parachuted onto Prelude, is throwing his weight around like he’s some sort of big king dick…this self-styled hero tough guy has been doing his best to intimidate some of the younger female tech’s by demanding they tell him whether they are in the Union and whether they intend to take Protected Industrial Action,” claimed the Offshore Alliance.

“Shell’s senior management need to pull this idiot into line as the Offshore Alliance will bang both him and Shell into the Federal Court for breach of Freedom of Association provisions if he doesn’t pull his head in. Pull off your management thugs, Shell,” added the union. read more
