
U.S.Today.com: Shell: Attackers sabotage oil installation
PORT HARCOURT, Nigeria (AP) Royal Dutch Shell PLC says attackers have sabotaged an oil-transfer installation in Nigeria.
Shell spokesman Precious Okolobo said Saturday the attackers hit a flow station in southern Nigeria late Friday and that some oil production had been shut down. He gave no further details.
Flow stations are intersections for tubes carrying oil from wells to export terminals.
