Sir H. Deterding Declares for No Compromise.
New York , November 29 ,-The New York Herald Tribune publishes an interview with Sir Henri Deterding, who arrived here in the Homeric yesterday to attend the annual meeting of the American Petroleum Institute at Chicago. Sir Henri is reported to have said “The Dutch Shell Company will continue its fight here in competition with the American oil companies. We never have compromised and never will. We fear no competition.” —Reuter.
