LONDON — The Shell Transport and Trading Company plc said Friday that on Jul. 29, 2004 it purchased for cancellation 2,000,000 ordinary shares at a price of 398.25 pence per share.
Also, Royal Dutch Petroleum Company (N.V. Koninklijke Nederlandsche Petroleum Maatschappij) said that on Jul. 29, 2004 it purchased 400,000 ordinary shares at a price of EUR42.21 per share.
