Showa Shell cuts crude refining on weak demand

TOKYO, Sept 10 (Reuters) – Japan’s Showa Shell Sekiyu KK (5002.T: Quote,ProfileResearchStock Buzz) plans to cut its crude refining volume from September to December by 4.4 percent, or 400,000 kilolitres, from the same period last year amid weak demand, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.

 

The Showa Shell group is Japan’s fifth-biggest oil refiner.
