Shell Oil Acquires 45 Gas Stations In Brazil

SAO PAULO (Dow Jones)–Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA, RDSB) announced on Tuesday night the acquisition of 45 gas stations in Brazil’s center-west region from local group Simarelli.

Shell did not unveil financial details of the deal.

Under the terms of the transaction, Simarelli will continue to work with Shell on fuel transportation in the region.

Shell now has more than 2,700 gas stations in Brazil.
