A BRITISH oil company executive was behind bars last night, accused of abusing 20 boys on sex tourism trips.

Paul Dorday, 42, was held after being found with two lads in Romanian capital Bucharest.

Police are investigating his activities during a series of holiday jaunts there over the past year.

Dorday, a “learning consultant” with Shell International, is said to be linked to at least 20 boys, aged ten to 17.

It is also alleged that pornographic images of more than 1,000 children were found on his laptop, phone and camera.

Detectives believe Dorday preyed on boys “hired” for between £20 and £80 a time from Petrosani, central Romania.

A police spokesman said: “The crimes were committed in a flat rented by Dorday.”

Romania has become a magnet for paedophiles.

Vice rings provide kids they lure from poor rural communities. Shell said yesterday Dorday’s role with the firm focused on staff training techniques and that he was based in The Hague, Holland.

It has been claimed that the Londoner had pretended to be Dutch while in Romania.

A company spokesman added: “He was not in Romania on business.”
