I would like to thank Herr Beurden for taking an interest in the future of Scotland however I did find it very strange for him to not publicly state that an Independent Scotland is the best option. The reason I find the statement of Mr Beurden strange is that Scotland is very much Pro EU whilst Mr Cameron has indicated that he intends holding a referendum on the continuation of remaining within the EU. Even if Mr Cameron is misleading the people of the UK they also have the UKIP, whose membership is increasing daily, stating they are going to leave the EU. Now the fact that the departure of the UK from the EU I do believe this would not be in the favour of your Company. It may be prudent to change your stance and give full backing to the people of Scotland and their call for independence.
