Unfortunately, the integrity of Wikipedia is corrupted by a policy allowing the anonymous editing of articles.

This fundamental flaw allows articles to be potentially sanitized of any facts embarrassing to a featured subject e.g. an evil oil giant

Larry Sanger, the co-creator of Wikipedia, has recently expressed similar misgivings about how Wikipedia has changed for the worse in recent years. He claims that it has been ruined.

Sanger identifies “anonymous contribution” as being detrimental to the accuracy of online information, which he rightly says is open to corruption by governments, corporations, spies and criminal organisations. He goes on to say that they know how to play the Wikipedian game. Sanger is now embarrassed by Wikipedia and has become its most prominent critic. read more

Terrible customer service !!!

An awful unhelpful useless incompetent company with apalling customer service. We’ve been trying to resolve an issue with our meter for the last three months and we’re no further than we were on the first day!!

We’ve called numerous times, submitted photos more than once, Shell themselves have sent someone on three separate occasions to our house to look at the meter and those people took photos and submitted reports. read more

Shell Broadband are awful

Shell Broadband are awful.

They do not deliver speed promised, service fails daily and sometimes numerous times a day.

They are now charging me £240 to exit.

Their customer support is awful with staff who are surly and unhelpful!

Truly awful don’t use them!

HOUSTON — Shell Oil Co. has launched “The Giving Pump” at gas stations across the United States as part of its Force for Good initiative to drive positive change in local communities by giving back. Through Sept. 30, a portion of the purchases made by consumers who use the designated pump at select Shell stations will support local children’s charities. THE WORST ENERGY PROVIDER I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.
We advised Shell that our tenant had moved out and provided dates, meter number, meter readings, the name and address who will be responsible for the bill after the tenant moved out. We even sent pictures of the meter.

Simple you would think. Not only are we receiving debt collection letters demanding that we pay for the previous tenants bill, it turns out they had the moved the tenant to the flat next door and they are now chasing us for that too. read more

Shell first took issue with my Shell-focused Internet activity in March 1995. Shell’s rabid false allegations about my late father and me resulted in a libel action and other litigation (IP theft) all subsequently settled in our favour by Shell.

2000

In November 2000, DJ Freeman, solicitors acting for Shell, sent a threatening letter to a server hosting company for www.nuclear-crimes.com AKA Shell’s Nuclear Crimes. DJ Freeman boasted in their letter that the website in question had already been removed from the Internet by a previous hosting company, Easyspace after DJ Freeman sent a threatening letter on behalf of Shell. read more

Still no callback & Shell ignore all my emails

Shell have still not rang me back, this issue has been going on since May, it is now August. They emailed saying I’d chosen a tariff that I hadn’t chosen and have ignored all of my emails regarding them ringing me back which they suggested they’d ring me back in the first place! Shell – ring me on Thursday 5th August as I’m sick to the back teeth of getting nowhere via email. You have ignored all of my emails to the address you say to email so let’s sort it over the phone. read more

It is very uncommon to experience crude oil/condensate spillages caused by equipment failure on the vast pipelines constructed by the Federal Government of Nigeria through supervisory NNPC/NPDC and operating oil partners to transport crude oil and associated product across the operating environment.

But no doubt, a significant proportion of crude oil/condensate spills that have become almost a daily experience, threatening health and livelihoods, in massive pollution, particularly across the Niger-Delta states are third party induced for various unlawful self-enrichment. read more

Sources close to the company disclosed that the oil giant had already hired Standard Chartered Bank to sell its Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) subsidiary, in deal which could be one of the hugest in the oil and gas industry in Africa ever. read more

Don’t waste your time trying to navigate Shell’s system

Took over Shell from previous owner of my flat. This is not my primary home. Gave Shell correspondence address which it did not use and then Shell placed a note on my otherwise unblemished credit rating that I delayed paying my bill ( sent to the wrong address ) Set up direct debit.

Continue to be asked to submit meter readings because of COVID.

Cannot get Shell system to work ( online or app ) even to recognise I have an account / register the account. read more

Time to contact Ofgem…

I have been waiting since May to get this resolved.

Made myself available for call backs at Shell’s request for every single day this past week and they never rang like they promised.

On here they just say to email trust pilot which I have done several times with no reply.

I do not have twitter or facebook so unable to resolve on there.

Why don’t you just call me back like you suggested in the first place? read more
