Sniffing out danger? That odor from the Shell cracker plant put the community on alert
There are people — (guilty) — who tend to interpret any smell as a harbinger of danger. That’s not necessarily wrong — (relieved).
Shell’s spokeswoman, Virginia Sanchez, said it might take weeks for the outside firm that Shell hired to investigate the recent smell incident to produce a report, the results of which she promised would be posted publicly on the company’s website.
