Shell Energy Broadband has not worked since the day it was installed. Almost non-existant customer service and a manager needs to sanction the solution – yet you cannot speak to a manager. You have to wait for them to call you back – so far 10 days and no call back, despite repeated requests and emails for one. Each phone call requesting a call back takes nearly an hour. No service, no refund and appalling communication.

Terrible customer service

Simply put, one of the worst energy companies I’ve ever dealt with. Over 2 years, they Simply don’t respond to emails and don’t even bother sending a complaint, they won’t deal with that either ! Live chat, well if you want to wait for an hour, and then, when you finally connect, the person you chat with is absolutely useless and cannot answer your query, and you end up having to phone, but obviously you cant get through! I give up!.

Worse energy company ever…

I have had trouble with this company since 2019, they send you the wrong bills, ignore all your readings, customer services (useless) tell you one thing and do another. Never in my life have I ever dealt with a company as bad as these, don’t even think about switching to Shell Energy. I have switched a month ago and it was best thing I have ever done.

40 minutes to speak to an agent

40 minutes to speak to an agent – sent an email which they haven’t replied after two days!

Wonderful shell sent me a letter saying that I hadn’t returned router I had, I have the Post Office receipt to prove this! Informed the agent, gave tracking number and today received letter informing me that they have charged me for the router. Biggest mistake I have ever made was signing a contract with Shell.

I have been moved to shell energy…

I have been moved to shell energy without my choice as my supplier company went busted! As soon as I have been notified, I switched from shell to Scottish power! This process completed in January 2022 and I closed my account with Shell. Shell energy received my DD from previous supplier and even they didn’t refund anything.In May, they starts calling me and emailing me that I need to pay more! they created duplicate Bill!!!!!!!!!!

I have submitted all the readings and have picture dated evidence. The bill they created is not correct. I called them several times in April and May, complaint on the phone and emails, the customer service kept me 45 minutes on the phone once to complete complaint form and promised to receive a reply by email- non has been done apparently- I am still receiving disturbing calls! This is my right to receive an accurate bill and evidence based on what you are claiming.

Why I have to pay to shell energy while I have been supplied and paid monthly to scottish power as my supplier? How could possibly my energy supplied by two supplier at the same time? even if this is not my fault! What is happening to the rest of money that shell received from Busted supplier?
