Another worthless response from Shell…

Another worthless response from Shell claiming they have settled the ombudsman decision by way of credit.
This saga is nearing its first anniversary now and Shell who have made first quarter profits in 2023 of £7 billion continue their refusal to settle what they owe me… a mere £1083.65.
They continue their pursuit of this supposed debt with threatening phone calls always early morning and written correspondence. Absolutely disgraceful. Either they think I’m stupid or they are..with the responses they offer to my complaint. The responses they offer are fundamentally wrong and if their billing experts consider there response is correct I would suggest they consider a career change.
Do NOT join Shell it will be your worst nightmare, nothing short of daylight robbery. You have all been warned. Act 374080

Worst Energy Provider I have ever dealt with.

Shell Energy make their bills confusing and complicated. Appreciate they use estimated readings and then recalculate with Actuals. They make Estimated readings even when you have provided actuals. The payments on account do not then tally up – they credit and recharge bills without making changes to the account balance. When you contact them you just get statements that the bills are accurate and if you request more details/information they cut you off. I have switched and will never go back to them.

Beware – Incorrect marks on your credit file will be left by this company.

Joke of a company! Added 2 missed payment to my credit file months after I had left them when they actually owed me money not the other way round. Eventually got the money I was owed and the marks removed but the changes to my credit score meant I was unable to proceed with a mortgage application I was going through.
On top of that I’ve just received another bill (6 months after leaving the company) claiming that I owe them more money.
Stay well clear of this company. Reported to BBC Watchdog

RUN and NEVER look back to Shell Energy EVER. The worst experience. We were unfortunately switched over to Shell. I now understand that Shell has been bought out and is now operating out of Russia. I feel like I have been living in a 3rd world country after my Shell experience. Not until I googled at 11:30 pm to see what the heck was happening did I realize the services provided to unknowing customers is common practice for Shell. So traumatizing. Needless to say, I immediately got out of bed and changed companies after reading the reviews. I did not care if I had to pay 3 times the cost, I was leaving. Leaving the abuser. I ended up with a much lower rate and power! Can’t wait to see this company go out of business!
