LONDON – Shell has signed a deal with Qatargas for the delivery of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Kuwait. The parties announced this without releasing financial details.
This is a long-term agreement whereby from 2020 onwards 1 million tonnes of LNG will be delivered to Kuwait. The LNG deliveries come from Qatar Liquefied Gas, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Shell. Qatar is the world’s largest exporter of LNG.
