DON`T BOTHER!

DON`T BOTHER!! , I trusted shell to look after our account and I have ended up being nearly a thousand pound in debt, i set up our account and got it going thought it was a bit cheap at £68 a month for gas and leccy but thought it will be sorted when they re -assess in 3 months , 3 months passed and they said they were dropping the bills to £49 a month so i let it go sent in readings as asked and all was good until 12 months (which is when they next check you out ) and i got a bill for nearly a thousand pounds £700 odd plus the latest bill and them saying i had been under paying , now they are supposed to be looking after your account , obviously not , it worked out by checking my bills that they had set me up all wrong and basically from day one had been under charging ,which should have been spotted after the first 3 months but no my bills went down not up . i had a call from their customer services and gave him a right mouth full , he eventually admitted they cocked up i have the conversation saved for future reference and they offered me a miserable £30 as a softener , and now they want to send a bailiff to get the money ( bring it on ) i said i dont and wont deal with them especially as im not at fault so now im paying it off at my own will and will be dumping them when its done , i had no debt until i got involved with these cowboys and on speaking to my neighbour they had the exact same trouble, SO DONT BOTHER !!!

Charging £12 to leave out of contract

Charging £12 to leave out of contract – not on. Will be complaining to the ombudsman which will charge Shell a fee of £334. I suggest everyone leaving does the same so this company learns its lesson.

Slow response from Shell customer service.

I joined Shell Energy on 10 April 2021. I provided a gas start reading of 1656. Shell e-mailed me on 25 April stating that my reading was wrong and they would use 1486. I contacted Shell on 25 April and contested the change and again on 25 May. The final bill from my previous supplier, Scottish Power, stated that the final reading was 1656. I have offered to send this to Shell as proof of the correct reading but that offer was rejected. Despite promises of action Shell are still using the incorrect reading of 1486. What do I have to do to get the situation resolved?

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service, ive tried for over a week to solve my tarrif out, and ive had poor customer service via chat, and now rudely spoken and shouted to on the phone by a “majdia”. I wish to make a complaint and to take this further. Absolutely appalled at the service ive received.

I have just emailed you my account details.

Ive tried to explain my usage isnt that high, and ive been paying 89 pounds a month for last 12 months, and im not in debit by any more than 35 pounds, but to renew my tariff it will be 150 pounds per month, but when i get a quote as a new customer for the exact same tariff it is 100 pounds.
