Long time, no speak, hope you may remember me.
My dual-energy was with Green who have gone bust and literally a few minutes ago I received an email from SHELL ENERGY welcoming me. Obviously, the regulator has switched me over without prior consultation. Needless to say the very last thing I would ever want is to become a customer of these crooks ever again.
Their email says I can switch immediately but I must wait until the switch is complete until I can cease to be their customer.
As you know I detest Shell and am spitting blood at the thought of having to become their customer again.
Hopefully, there is someway I can avoid this nightmare, I will never divulge my bank account details to these robbers and definitely in this regard I will consider it as a data breach if anyone else (Green and/or the Regulator) has passed those confidential details onto Shell. Surely they can’t set up a direct debit without my approval?
Meanwhile, I have stopped my DD to Green because there is no way I’m going to divulge my bank account details to Shell Energy. I don’t trust them one bit.
Looks as if I have no choice but to accept Shell for the time being and switch immediately I find a comparative supplier.
