Do not trust Shell Broadband

They have left me so frustrated and have wasted so much of my time that I do not actually have the energy or the will to detail the extensive list of crimes committed by this company but I did have to write something.

New customer no phone or broadband for 1st three days

New customer. Went live yesterday. No Internet or landline since. Found out after third phone call from my mobile phone that Shell had sent wrong router. 48 hours to get correct one. Not a good start. Don’t understand why phone not working.

Never write reviews but this was the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered, they messed up my order, then I tried to ring eveylry day for a week to sort it out and they were just cutting me off, I finally got through to someone and they said they’d look into it for me, then I get an email saying it was cancelled, I should of only been a couple days without Internet, but I had to change providers now I’m 3 weeks. Avoid

Very long story short, do not trust this company as their processes and understanding of simple request is laughable.

They forgot to send out my broadband router.
They never call you back (4 occasions).
They transfer you and then cut you off.
They transfer you back to the main recorded message when they are transferring you.
Average call time to achieve absolutely nothing is 30 mins.
They do not keep their promises.

I signed up for broadband August…

I signed up for broadband August 22,with a £100 voucher, I continued contract on original platform.To find an email to compleat contract? .I’d had conformation of contract also.I rang shell with concerns,I was told to wait 3 months and if it didn’t arrive I would be credited to my account. Didn’t arrive. I rang a few times was told I’d receive a phone call no call?.After last time I rang received an email stating I’d have to contact a 3rd party which I can’t. I am very disappointed. Specifically because of original phone call saying I would be credited to my account, 2 weeks before my start date .please resolve.

useless customer services

customer services is not helpful at all, keeps passing you to other departments which are not even helpful.
logged ticket via contactus web email form. no one contacted after chasing emails someone contacted but still not able to fix the bill.

Discriminated because my mother is in a care home! I wouldn’t even give 1 star

I wouldn’t even give 1 star! If you have an elderly or vulnerable person Do Not go with this company. My elderly mother with Parkinson’s has gone into a care home, she would like her home phone to be transferred but shall lack empathy and fairness because my mother isn’t able to always speak clearly so I do most of her transactions. Today a shell adviser treated my mother unfairly and discriminated against her for being in a care home! This was at 16.37 on 5/7/23

Its the worst company ever

Its the worst company ever. I have moved out of the property 7 months ago and they contact me asking for money from the goverment funding that they applied on the account. I complained and its still the same problem they want me to pay for a money that is nothing to do with me. This company has zero customer service and they make mistakes and ask me to pay for it. Its rediculous.

The home of the not so smart meter

I really don’t know why I returned to Shell but I’m regretting it already.
It’s been nothing but three months of dodgy service smart meters that only connect to shel an app that tells me nothing as the Shell SEP up is so bad.
They appear happier for you to leave, than deal with the issues they’ve created.
A bad company with only the share holder’s interest at heart.
