Appalling customer service. I had to use Shell Energy on a rental property after a tenant moved out and before the new tenant arrived. They initially sent me a bill with the wrong dates and meter readings. I contacted them and they advised me this would be changed. They then proceeded to make demands for payment for both the old and the new revised amounts by email on a daily basis yet failed to issue a bill showing how it was calculated. I spent ages emailing and calling them and trying Online Chat only to receive empty assurances that the bill would be issued. They then sent me a link to manage the account online but it was for the wrong house address and wrong account number. This company is truly disorganised and will cause you to waste a huge amount of your time – AVOID.
Pathetic/rude
Really disappointed with the customer service today. wanted to join shell energy and as a new customer I get a very rush and rude service,, just moved in the property and wanted to proceed with shell energy as previous tenant was with shell energy and the account number of him is 3862959 but I promise I will move to octopus energy the best customer service…the lady who picked my call wasn’t call at all and transferred my call when I asked her the name and she was laughing at me like she is some kind of my ex when I told her to give me the name..I phoned at 11:40 to some women called evlena I think and her customer service was pathetic.i will never ever join shell energy…
